The SCR denitrification process is used in the flue gas denitrification of diesel generator sets, i.e. the reducing agent is decomposed into ammonia (NH3) and water (H2O) in the mixing area of the exhaust pipe when it meets high temperature flue gas, and then mixed with flue gas to produce harmless nitrogen (N2) and water (H2O) under the action of catalyst, and then discharged through the exhaust pipe.
In the SCR denitrification process, the denitrification catalyst plays an essential role and has a direct impact on the denitrification efficiency. Therefore, for this project, Hebei Hanlan has selected a high efficiency denitrification catalyst, which is independently developed and designed. It not only has the characteristics of high temperature flue gas adaptability, high air velocity and high activity, but also has the advantages of high purification efficiency per unit volume, small footprint, low SO2 conversion rate, flexible structure, resistance to thermal shock and can effectively prevent carbon soot particles from sticking in the catalyst, blocking and poisoning.
Due to the rational layout and optimised design of the whole system, some of the systems are integrated into one unit, thus saving the investment and operating costs and space for the customer, while guaranteeing the safe and reliable operation of the generator set, which is therefore highly appreciated by the customer.
